Dozens of fans have lauded the artwork, with many Oregonians giving it their seal of approval. The World of Warcraft-style map has garnered plenty of praise online, with the unique map amassing roughly 3,600 upvotes at the time of wriitng. Several of Oregon's major landmarks and cities are labeled as well, with places like Medford, Crater Lake, Mount Hood, and Portland all labeled with appropriate icons. The map does an excellent job of emulating WoW's earth-tone color scheme, with the more open farmland regions to the east colored a yellow-orange, with Oregon's heavily wooded coast shown in a suitable green. The creator appears to have gotten all of the in-game details accurately, right down to the torn and crumpled parchment edges. Posted onto the World of Warcraft Reddit page, user ConservationofWumbo shows off their rendition of what the state of Oregon would look like on a WoW-style map.
